reno: day whatever

My vast reading audience has been pestering me for reno updates, sorry, sorry! I keep forgetting to take the camera down there, or I do and the batteries up and die on me, but we’ve made tons of progress lately:

  • Bathtub is installed
  • Bathtub plumbing, not so much*
  • Bathroom is gyproc’ed (rocked?)
  • Deal-a-licious hood fan has arrived from Italy via Texas eBay guy and its assembled and sitting on the floor beneath the new duct work. It looks fabulous there. (We’ll install it fully once the ceiling is sprayed).
  • Appliances are ordered, yay!

    • Kitchen news! We have received the plan and it looks awesome. I have pictures. Pictures that suck, because have I told you I HATE MY CAMERA? I hate my camera. If I turn the flash off it won’t focus. Hate it.

    * there are no individual water shut off valve thingys (sorry for the technical terms) in the condo, which means I have to seek approval from Strata to turn off the water to a couple of suites for a couple of hours. No big deal right? Wrong.
