A work in progress…me, and this list. I’ll edit it as the mood strikes me. Let’s start with 20 and go from there.

  1. I am currently 36 37 years old.
  2. I don’t look it.
  3. I am almost now officially divorced.
  4. I was only married for 15 months.
  5. I’m as single is as single does now.
  6. I am now dating a really awesome, wonderful guy.
  7. He is the sexiest guy ever.
  8. Rawr.
  9. I think I’m in love with his dog.
  10. Someone said unkind things about me recently.
  11. That were unfair and unwarranted (as was the grudge that caused it…).
  12. I’m afraid people will believe that person over me and I hate that.
  13. I’m hurt by the situation but buoyed by the friends who believe in me.
  14. I love my friends.
  15. I trust too easily.
  16. I forgive too easily.
  17. Not knowing how to defend myself is almost unbearable to me.
  18. I’m loyal to others - to my own detriment sometimes.
  19. I’m non-confrontational, although others might disagree with that.
  20. I’d rather hurt myself than hurt others.
  21. I need to decide who is worthy of that.
  22. I can’t hold a grudge.
  23. Might be getting better at that. Wheee self-improvement!
  24. I wish I knew how to express my emotions to men better.
  25. I’m afraid of being too cold if I hold it in.
  26. I’m afraid of pushing them away if I emote.
  27. I kinda suck at the whole dating thing.
  28. I over-think things.
  29. I have “issues” with anxiety.
  30. Writing makes me stop thinking about things I shouldn’t be over-thinking.
  31. I should do it more often.
  32. Ditto exercising.
  33. I love to swim.
  34. I love to walk.
  35. I also love to eat.
  36. I love to travel.
  37. Among other places, I have been to Jamaica, Thailand, Cambodia and India.
  38. I was in Thailand during the Boxing Day 2004 Tsunami.
  39. I didn’t even notice it happen.
  40. I was on my honeymoon.
  41. I was reading “The Alchemist” at the time and it taught me to have my eyes open to omens.
  42. I left my husband 345 days later.
  43. I’m a little slow sometimes.
  44. I wasn’t in love with my husband but I couldn’t bring myself to hurt him until he damaged me (nearly) irreparably.
  45. I will never stay with someone I’m not in love with again.
  46. I hope.
  47. I promise.
  48. I am trying to do things that I enjoy doing, even if it means doing them on my own, for the first time in a decade.
  49. It’s hard but rewarding.
  50. I need a kick in the ass to get me moving sometimes.
  51. I’m trying to kick my own ass instead of relying on others to do that.
  52. I have a hard time making decisions.
  53. I like to think of it as “go with the flow” but I’m afraid it comes across as “wishy-washy”.
  54. I’m afraid of making a decision that will hurt someone.
  55. So I avoid.
  56. Or change the subject.
  57. I think people who say they hate McDonald’s are lying.
  58. The first concert I went to was the Kinks.
  59. The last concert I went to was Gwen Stefani.
  60. I have a girl crush on Gwen Stefani.
  61. And Beyonce.
  62. And Angelina Jolie.
  63. I would leave Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie in a heartbeat.
  64. I think Brad Pitt is ewgy.
  65. I have never kissed a man with blond hair.
  66. I like ‘em TD&H.
  67. I am the Google Queen.
  68. I love baths.
  69. Oh hello #69…I was born in 1969, dirty buggers.
  70. My first car was a 1969 VW Bug.
  71. I drove my second car, an ‘88 Tercel, from the time I was 18 until I was 37.
  72. I am thrilled that my third car screams at me when I leave the lights on.
  73. I have only lived outside of North Vancouver for 19 months of my entire life.
  74. I never remember garbage day.
  75. I am terribly impatient.
  76. I’m not sure anymore if I want kids.
  77. I think it might be too late.
  78. That makes me sad but also makes me feel free.
  79. I may end up with no kids, but I’ll never be a crazy cat lady.
  80. I don’t like cats.
  81. I love dogs.
  82. I think I make people laugh.
  83. I like that.
  84. The best feeling in the world is making someone I love happy.
  85. I wish I could do it more often.
  86. I’ll try.
  87. Most days, I like myself.
  88. I’m addicted to Facebook.
  89. I wish I had enough ideas to write something every day.
  90. I don`t understand why the apostrophes in WordPress are backwards.
  91. I can figure out anything!
  92. There are people who know more about my life than I do! Imagine that!
  93. I can be sarcastic.
  94. Sometimes I don’t know any other way.
  95. I believe in honesty.
  96. I think that makes me naive.
  97. I think the world would be a better place if everyone just tried to be kind to one another.
  98. I hate it when people think they know everything about me. No one but ME can update this page.
  99. I consistently stay up way past my bedtime.
  100. I’m not terribly self-disciplined.
  101. That’s an understatement.
  102. But I’m working on it…
