a night out

Hurray! I didn’t have to cook. We were invited to Nicole’s to eat, drink wine and watch the game.  She made us an amazing dinner of salmon with (I think?) a sour cream sauce, bocconcini salad and steamed new potatoes.  I’m reserving this space for her recipes, if she’ll give them to me, since Andrew said it was the best meal he’d had in AGES and AGES and AGES. Ahem.

WOW, an amazing meal? Moi?! Well thank you. I just dresses the salmon with a sour cream and fresh dill and baked it.
Take a few dollops of sour cream and add finely chopped fresh dill, a squirt of lemon, S&P.
The salad was one thinly sliced tomato per person, sliced bocconcini, minced red onion and lots of fresh basil. The dressing is just balamic, olive oil, fresh garlic, S&P blended.
I think I enjoy this meal for all the fresh veggies and herbs.
    Glad you enjoyed it
