I really want to do this tonight but I look FRIGHTENING, hair all askew and suitcase-sized bags under my eyes. I’m too vain and will have to do it tomorrow. :)
My dad says “rout” rather than “root” and my mom and I have always teased him about it. I was under the impression that all Canadians say “root” and when you busted out with “rout” my jaw dropped. For real.
Also, I should finish watching the video before I comment. It’s weird, I grew up just 1000 km north of you, still in BC, and yet we have so many differences here. One thing though, those flying things we called crane flies; a daddy long-legs was the spider-like thing (in actual fact, not likely a spider at all — oh the joys of having a biology degree). You forgot the one about rain showers – had you ever heard sun shower before? I never had.
I totally forgot the rain shower thing – no, I’ve never heard that term either. My ex used to call it a Monkey’s Wedding when it was sunny AND raining at the same time. But I think I’ve told you he was pretty much the most insane person on the planet, so.
I just want to gush because OMFG if I didn’t already love you, I’d be hardcore girl-crushing on you, woman! You’re gorgeous AND adorable (and I love your hair, too). I’m seriously all SQUEE! over here. #dork ;)
