Today we decided we are ripping down the kitchen wall. I believe this is the third or fourth decision regarding the damn wall. Good news though, as I think it will look really hot when we get it all done.
Other decisions today: look for other size fridges, buy a flat top stove thingy (hmmm, does that come attached to the oven part or is it two separate pieces? Oh god, more money…), adding a schwank hood fan instead of a microwave above stove (microwave now goes above dishwasher). Move Wall to be Knocked Down out about 7 inches (in reality the whole wall comes down and a new little pony wall will be built, but whatever, I say it’s being moved).
We’ll increase the linen closet a tad to make it into a linen/coat closet, the den/closet is again a den (again a two or three decision item). Vetoed both knocking out den/closet to make a larger bathroom and the granite sample that looked like a can of tuna.
Tomorrow Jeff will build the pony wall, knock out the old linen closet and maybe install the tub. Friday we’ll go pick floors and countertops so I can meet with the decorator (I know! Shut up!) on Monday.
No work done today, but lots of decisions made. All of which cost more money, hurray!
