Got rolling today on the condo reno. We got a ton done! The kitchen has been torn out, including the ceramic tile floor (that had a plywood underlay that was screwed into the concrete floor…), all the carpet and baseboards are out, all the light switch “thingies” are off and the shelves have all been knocked out of what we are calling the den. Did you know how much grossness is under carpet? A lot. A LOT. Oh stain of mystery, how glad I am that I won’t be allowing you in my home…

Tomorrow my dad is going to attack the bathroom while I’m at work and hopefully we’ll get the ceiling and walls prep’ed for paint this week. Oh no…I suppose that means I have to pick colours…
OK. Anyone who is reading. Help me decide. White kitchen with existing white appliances? (Would have dark countertops to go with the dark wood floors). Nice, right? Pro: Don’t have to buy new appliances. Con: White is kinda…meh.
OR stainless appliances with wood cabinets? Pro: hott. Con? $$$$.
If wood – light? medium? dark? I’ve been quite sold on dark floors but not sure if that would be too much and too dark in there. Halp halp. Horrible at deciding but must.do.soon.
