Good news, bad news day.

Good - looks like the demo is done.

Bad - found out the granite I picked for my counters is actually marble and I can’t use it. Which is swell considering I based my paint selections on it (and paid the decorator $100 to help me…) Back to the drawing board.

Also put up ghetto curtains:

Was going to go with the Canadian flag, but changed my mind at the last minute.

Fun stuff today - met with a woman from Benjamin Moore and picked paint colours, whooooo. They sound so lovely:

Things I’ve learned so far in this reno:

1. gyproc dust gets fucking everywhere,
2. gyproc dust + eyeballs = oweeeeeee,
3. my fingernails are not going to survive this, and
4. alexander keith is my new best friend
