copy of email sent during trip to Thailand, December 2004 – January 2005
Got a flight tomorrow (Dec 30 here, which will be the 29th there) to Bangkok. The earliest we could get. Want to get out of here!! Everyone is all paranoid & you keep hearing things like “another wave hit phi phi!!! go up the hill, hurry!!!!” then nothing happens. a dead body washed up down the beach yesterday and I suspect more will come down from phuket & phi phi – I’m so outta here before that happens!!!!! Will write again from Bangkok. love you all!
