copy of email sent during trip to Thailand, December 2004 – January 2005
Hi everyone. On koh lanta now – yay! Left bangkok on tuesday, flew into krabi, then drove to ao nang, which is really really pretty. from there took a long tail boat to ralay, also very very beautiful!!! spent the night there then took a mini bus for about 2 hours to lanta. it was great to get back here, everyone was so happy to see us, sat around & drank beer for a couple of hours before making it to the bungalow. same bungalow as last year – awesome!
so far it’s been all about just lazing around, floating on the air mattresses, hanging in the hammock & swimming in the ocean. Oh and eating lots. today was the big trek into town haha. exhausting. tomorrow is christmas, so tonight is the big feast at somewhere else, should be fun. lots of friends here from last year. tomorrow we’re going to go to this british guy’s restaruant down the street, he makes somewhat of a traditional Christmas dinner. yum. not like mom’s though!!!!! on boxing day I think we’re renting a boat and going snorkeling, I can’t wait.
